After playing their song “Bad For You” on episode 67 with David Dennis, I had to get The Carolyn Sills Combo on the podcast for an interview. Namesake Carolyn and her husband Gerard, the guitar player for the band, share their history in music, working for the Santa Cruz Guitar Co., and what it means to be able to live a life dedicated to music. We hear about their life’s journey from college, living in New York and touring Europe, to moving to California and forming the current group. I truly enjoyed getting to know Carolyn and Gerard, they impart some really valuable wisdom, and we also nerd out on gear!
