We are both guitar nerds, and we both left the UK to live in North America. Dan Clayton is an acoustics engineer based in Calgary, Canada, that also records his own music, mixes others’, and is the founder of Fret Success, an online resource for guitar players looking to improve their skills. Dan shares his journey from asking his parents for saxophone lessons and inheriting his dad’s guitar instead, opening for some popular touring bands in the UK, and why he moved to Canada. We also have a nerdy gear discussion about amps, plugins and pedals.
