About an hour drive north of Fort Worth, Texas, you’ll find a college town called Denton that is home to a band by the name of Remain. I sat down with band leader and front-man Caleb Coonrod to talk about the band’s inception, the impetus of signing on with management, and the challenges of trying to grow a band and release a new album during a pandemic. We discuss how Caleb got into music and started gaining a following at a bar in the middle of nowhere, his long-term goals for the band, and the importance of using your voice, not just to comment on the state of the world, but to hopefully change it for the better.
