To celebrate the 60th episode of the podcast, I had the pleasure of talking with Caitlin Claessens, who is the face of Caitie’s classroom along with her co-host Tobee, on the popular YouTube channel Super Simple Play, part of Skyship Entertainment’s Super Simple Songs network, whose main channel has over 23M subscribers. Caitie talks about her journey from growing up in Ontario and going to university for film production, moving to NYC and busking on the subway, to finding session vocal jobs that ended up being featured in Superbowl Commercials. We find out why she ended up returning to Canada and went on to build a successful children’s educational entertainment business and subsequently got an opportunity with Skyship to become a presenter and produce her own series.
